Programme area
Health, SRHR and Protection
PIDA seeks to bring reliable health information and services closer to underserved rural communities, particularly women, girls and adolescents.
Community information and prevention
A proposed community-driven information platform will improve access to accurate information on disease prevention, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, menstrual health, early marriage, life after pregnancy, violence against women and girls, and school safety.
Support for survivors
PIDA proposes survivor-centred counselling, legal-aid referrals, connections to service providers and economic opportunities for girls and women affected by gender-based violence.
Proposed community medical facility
PIDA is seeking partners for a proposed modern community medical facility in Masaba Subcounty. This is a planned funding priority, not an existing facility. Its proposed services include maternal and child health, outpatient care, diagnostics, pharmacy, surgery, maternity and adolescent-friendly health services. Scope, approvals, cost and implementation phases require formal feasibility and regulatory review.
